Don Gorin has over 18 years of experience as a Golf Professional. Now in his third year as Director of Instruction at The Landings at Spirit Golf Club, Don is responsible for the development, marketing and execution of all private and group golf instruction programs. He increased participation in the junior golf program by over 40% in his first year and has had a steady increase every year since.
For 4 years prior to that Don was the Director of Instruction at Chesterfield Valley Golf Center, where he also had great success promoting and implementing new instructional programs, while increasing participation in junior golf each year. In 2003, Don was the recipient of the PGA Acushnet Scholarship for academic excellence.
Prior to his position at Chesterfield Valley Golf Center, Don served as First Assistant at Four Seasons Country Club. Before that Don was the Teaching Professional at Lake Forest Country Club. He has also served as the First Assistant at Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo, IL for four years. Don has a wide array of experience in the golf industry including designing golf education programs, providing private and group instruction to a wide range of golfers, conducting lessons with video analysis, scheduling and coordinating golf tournaments and corporate outings and managing pro-shop operations.
